The Topic:
Modifying the AMM for better flow.
The Problem:
Within the AMM there are two "grilles", the function of these two
"net-discs" are to protect the sensor that resides in the AMM.
These nets will create turbulence one set of swirls in and on set of swirls on
the way out of the AMM. These swirls will create a flow hindrance in the AMM.
(could compare it with a poor airlock). The flow is then not optimal.
The Solution:
To get better flow just remove the "net-discs".
The discs are hold in place with two spring-ring. just remove the rings and the
grille falls out.
Mod is done!
Just remember that removing the "net-discs" will rise the possibility
of malfunction and the risk of damaging of the AMM by foreign objects going
through the AMM. Remember to have a really good air filter and install a catch
tank for the valve train ventilation.
